Homes, terraces and apartments
The Inner West has a bit of everything: Victorian terraces with old rim locks, Federation homes, 1960s walk-ups and new apartment blocks with high-security cylinders. We carry the tools for all of them, including:
- Deadlocks and deadlatches on front doors
- Security screen doors
- Apartment entry doors and common-area doors
- Sliding doors and back doors
- Older heritage-style locks found on terraces
Getting you in without the damage
We start with non-destructive methods such as picking and bypass tools. Most lockouts are solved this way, which means your lock keeps working and you don't need a new one. If the lock is faulty or high-security and entry needs drilling, we tell you first and can replace the lock on the spot so you can lock up again the same night.
Renting? Locked out of a unit?
We regularly help tenants and owners in the apartment blocks around Enmore, Newtown and Marrickville. To protect you, we ask for proof that you live at the property before we open the door, such as ID with the address, a lease, or a bill. It's a quick step that keeps everyone's home safe.

Frequently asked questions
How do you prove I live there?
Once you're inside, we'll ask to see ID with the address, a lease, a bill or similar. We do this on every lockout to keep homes secure.
Do I need a new lock after a lockout?
Usually not. Most lockouts are opened without damage. If your keys were lost or stolen, we may recommend rekeying so the old keys stop working.
